Season 14:
Journey through the Human Cell
In Season 14, we explored the route-map of a cell, looking at the different action centers and roles each organelles play.
The season included 10 sessions and activities that introduced the salient features that constitute the Cell. Our speakers reminded our young minds that the cell organelles are always working in tandem and that communication is key at all times.
The season ended with a hands on session to build a cell model, inviting the young minds to add their own touch to the age-old Cell model.

Season 13:
Microbe express for kids
In Season 13, we embarked on a journey to learn about microbes and their differemt roles and contributions to human life and the environment.
The season included 9 sessions on microbes, with guest scientists from India, UK, USA, and Chile, and was structured to discuss microbes in poop, microbes and infections, a virtual tour into a microbiology laboratory, and more.
In the final session of the season, we had a recap of all previous sessions, with a mini-quiz and giant mentimeter poll. Also, check out the weekly activities that went along with Microbe Express for Kids in our 'Weekly Activities' section.

Science Of 'YOU'
In Season 12, we learned how amazing and unique we are!
We talked about Membranes in the Human Body, Memory Formation, and Blood Circulation to How Food Makes 'You,' and so much more!
This season included two hands-on sessions!
In the first hands-on session, young minds constructed their own version of a tongue-taste map, and in the second hands-on session, young minds made a simple model of the human hand out of dough!

Science for Big Questions!
In Season 11, we learned how big questions in science are asked and answered.
We discussed a range of topics from Fatty Liver Disease, Brain Plasticity, Epidemiology, Collective Behavior in Animals and more!
In our hands-on session, our young minds conducted a "real experiment" by mimicking climate change using a simple model of glacier melting, and we crowdsourced the data and displayed it live!

In Season 4, we had sessions dedicated to young health!
We covered a whole range of topics from wounds and fractures, sleep, the importance of physical exercise, the body's matrix, allergies and more!
In of our sessions we had over 100 participants, with #100 trending in the chat window!
In our hands-on session, our young minds did a 'real experiment' related to body temperature, and we crowd sourced all the data and displayed it live!

In Season 3, we learnt all about science relevant to India and the great research being done by scientists in India!
Through our sessions, we took a look at historical Indian medicine, tuberculosis and more.
We hosted inspiring Indian scientists as guests who introduced us to the science of studying Indian peafowls, dogs, tiger conservation and advances in medical biotechnology in India.
In our hands-on session, our young minds identified spiders from their homes with our guest scientist!

Deep Dive into Science in the Lab
In Season 2, we took a 'deep dive into science in the lab' and discussed new and exciting topics, that our young minds do not encounter in school textbooks.
We learnt about bioluminescence, organ-on-a-chip, tissue culture, and the thrilling Antarctica expedition of one of our guest scientists!
We ended with a hands-on session where our young minds extracted DNA from a banana using hand sanitizer!

Season 1:
biology is all around us
In Season 1, we looked at how 'Science is all around us'.
We began the season by taking about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19 explained for young people). We also discussed biofilms, antibiotics, vaccines and even a session on how microbes help make food!
Our season ended with our young minds building microbial ecosystems in a jar or 'Winogradzsky columns', with soil, water, salt and newspaper!
